We liked it was out of town (15 min drive to the center) ...

We liked it was out of town (15 min drive to the center) there was a trampoline and swing and bicycles for the kids. Enough garden to play and run just what we needed. It was very clean and nice shower. (very windy at times but that seems to be normal in Punta Arenas ;-))

The cabin was nice but not really for 5 people. The sofa bed was oke for a child but had 'buttons ' on the mattress we covered with a blanket. Just 4 chairs.

Nice cottage with a lovely view

This is a nice place to stay with a lovely sea view and we saw rabbits running around the grounds. The host was very friendly and helpful. The cottage has everything you need, including kitchen equipment.

We would have preferred a double bed rather than twin but maybe this was all that was available. We found it quite hard to find a local supermarket so I would suggest asking the host about this on arrival.

Clean, comfortable, simple cottage

Simple but comfortable cottage in a vacation cabaña compound. Hosts (family business) we're very gracious and spoke enough English so that we could happily communicate. Beautiful view down to the Straits of Magellan. King bed in master was quite comfortable; my daughter reported a bit less so in the twin bedroom. Interesting birds in the field next door. They provided a jug of drinking water.

A bit hard to find--you have to figure out where to leave the highway, though our Google maps got us close. Watch for potholes just like other side roads in Chile. These were minor issues, and obviously once you figure it out, you're fine. Be aware that you need to go into Punta Arenas for restaurants, food and gas.

We loved seeing the little Rabbit's,&birds in the...

We loved seeing the little Rabbit's,&birds in the grounds. They put a smile on our faces & made us very happy & relaxed.

We were shocked on our last day to find one of the lovely Rabbits caught in a snare, trap this was a wire noose tightly around its neck.slowly chocking it to death.Ifreed the Rabbit, but found other snares set by the people running the place in full view of the cabins.We regard this as barbaric,& very cruel,& inhumane,our trip was ruined by this barbaric act of extreme cruelty.

We stayed in a gorgeous, huge cottage, which was unexpected.

We stayed in a gorgeous, huge cottage, which was unexpected. Great view of the Straits of Magellan. The couple who own the cabanas were so warm and kind, they made us feel welcome immediately. They gave me an easter gift and even got up at 5am to drive us to the airport when our taxi didn't show. The accommodation itself is lovely, but the couple running the place really made it amazing, Thanks so much! Would definitely recommend this place, and hope to be back one day.

Everything was fine but do note that the location is around 8km from the city (between city and airport).This was good for us because we wanted to be close to the airport as our flight was at 6.30am.

spotlessly clean, view of the water, hardwood floors, beautiful antique furniture, fast wifi, very friendly and helpful hosts, 5-minute drive to airport

There was nothing we disliked, but it would have been nice if it was possible to pay via card, instead of only cash. It would also have been nice if they included bare-bones breakfast supplies, even if this stuff was available for an optional extra fee. We happened to bring supplies with us, and are familiar with the area, but the cabins are far from stores, so this would have been a nice touch for weary travelers who don't know the area.
